Melbourne Primary School Zones

How to use this map

 

1. Scroll around the map just as you would in Google Maps.

 

2. To view the map in full screen mode, click on the square bracket icon that appears at the top right hand corner of the map. 

 

3. Click on the various catchment areas to see which schools are serviced by that catchment area.  

 

4. The following abbreviations have the following meanings:

 

* Zoned means that the you need to live in the School zone for you to be eligible to send your children to that particular school

* Unzoned means that there the only limit on applicants is the number of students enrolled - typcially, an unzoned school is obliged to accept all enrollments

* OTA means Open to Applicants where applicants will be considered but not guaranteed a place

* SZ means the zoned area is shared with 2 or more local schools
